Golf Shootout Benefits South Mountain Community College Students

The Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce at South Mountain * Laveen is giving back to the community through proceeds from the April 22nd "Golf Shootout at South Mountain." The event at The Legacy Golf Resort raised more than $2,000, which benefits South Mountain Community College's South Mountain Precinct/Shane Figueroa Memorial Scholarship. This new SMCC scholarship goes to graduating South Mountain High School seniors interested in pursuing a career in the criminal justice system.
