January 12th, 2011

Chamber President & CEO Todd Sanders is quoted in this Arizona Republic story on KPNX-TV's move to new studios in downtown Phoenix.

"The move itself is less than a mile, but it goes a long way toward combining the power of two key media outlets in our community," Todd Sanders, CEO and president of the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce, said in a statement.

"Both Channel 12 and The Republic have been Chamber members since the 1940s and we're thrilled to have them both here, not only as neighbors, but also as contributors to the growth of the core of downtown Phoenix," he said.

Chamber Vice President for Public Affairs Michelle Bolton is quoted in this Republic story on the opening of the Arizona Legislature and its priorities for the session.

Michelle Bolton, vice president of public affairs and economic development at the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce, said although businesses would love immediate tax cuts, the budget and deficit need to be the Legislature's priority.

"We have got to get our budget in order. . . . We have to show the businesses here and around the globe that we are stable," she said.
