What is the Chamber and what does it do?
Established in 1888, the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce is the most-established business organization in the Valley, made up of 2,600 members representing businesses of all sizes. The Chamber’s mission is to keep its members informed, connected and prosperous by offering a wide range of professional development programs and networking events and by engaging with our elected officials.

Why would I need to join the Chamber?
Now, more than ever, building substantive relationships is crucial to sustaining and growing your business.  The Chamber provides opportunities on a daily basis for you to meet new contacts, whether it’s at a business for breakfast or a professional development event. Who are the members of the Chamber?
Our 2,900 members range from single-person shops to corporations with thousands of employees.  We have members who have just started their business and members who have been in business for more than a century.  If you’re looking for advice on how to grow your business or transition it to the next generation in your family, the Chamber has members who will be there to support you.

What does it cost?

What types of programs does the Chamber offer?
The Chamber offers a wide variety of programs for our members, most of which are included in the cost of your membership. We offer professional development seminars for women in business and young professionals, as well as a series we call “Chamber Institute” which focuses on the fundamentals of your business from finance to marketing.

How can I register for an event?

What types of sponsorship opportunities are available at the Chamber?

There are a variety of sponsorship opportunities available through the Chamber – everything from presenting sponsor of a major event like the IMPACT or ATHENA Awards to sponsoring a mixer, luncheon or networking event . How can my company get exposure through the Chamber?
There are many great ways to get exposure from the Chamber.  First, get active!  The Chamber is about meeting new people and building relationships for you and your business.  Make a goal to attend one event a week.  Second, sponsor an event or a member program, and expose your brand to thousands of new eyeballs.  Third, promote your brand through our online member directory and offer a special discount to our members and the community.  To round out the top five, think about the Chamber as an extension of your marketing plan.  Purchase space in our weekly email reaching close to 4,000 members of the community or purchase advertising on our website with over 10,000 visits monthly.

Can I offer a special discount to Chamber members?

What type of Business Development programs does the Chamber offer?

Can any member get involved with the Chamber’s Public Affairs efforts?
Yes, any member of the Chamber can get involved with the Chamber’s Public Affairs efforts.    We have six issue committees focusing on public policy concerns from water to education.  Also, our Public Affairs Committee meets twice a month and is open to all members. Does the Chamber offer any money-saving programs?
