Legislative Kick Off

Each year the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce works with the Governor’s Office and the leadership from the Legislature to host a Legislative Kick Off event for our members. This is a members-only event, which allows Chamber members to learn about state and local legislative priorities and make vital connections with public policy leaders.

Mayor’s State of the City

The Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce has been honored to work with the Mayor’s office for the last several years to help present the Mayor’s State of the City each spring. This event is open to all Chamber members and provides a firsthand look at the Mayor’s priority agenda for the upcoming year. The State of the City Address is a great opportunity for companies large and small to mingle with city leaders, council members and department representatives. City department directors are seated at each corporate table so that the audience may learn more about how the city works and bring issues to the forefront. As a public service to the community, those just wanting to hear the Mayor’s address can sit in the back and attend at no charge. This is a must attend event for any member of the business community.

Legislative Wrap-up

The Legislative Wrap Up is an opportunity to learn how the business community fared during
the legislative session at the State Capitol. Upon adjournment of the legislative session, several key
legislators and policymakers are invited to discuss the impact of the new policies on business. The event is moderated by a local media personality and attendees are encouraged to participate in the
discussion regarding the outcome of key legislation.
