Workers' Compensation

Chamber members have an opportunity to participate in the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce (GPCC) Association Safety Program. This program is an optional offering to GPCC members or BidSource subscribers who have workers' compensation insurance coverage with SCF Arizona (SCF).

The program’s objectives are to reduce injuries and to keep workers’ compensation premiums as low as possible. All members accepted into the safety program will become eligible for a 10% discount on their workers’ compensation insurance premiums. In addition to any “regular” year end dividends declared and paid by SCF to their policyholders, participating companies may be eligible to receive a “bonus” safety dividend. This safety dividend will only be available if the collective group of companies in the Chamber’s program keeps aggregate loss claims below a threshold level established by SCF.

In October 2011, SCF distributed dividends for calendar year 2010. In the October disbursement Chamber members received “regular” dividends totaling over $42,900, along with another $47,400 of "bonus" safety dividends.
