A new approach to treating an age-old disease has positioned Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA)  as a leader in the changing way we look at health care. The company's Western Regional Medical Center in Goodyear offers innovative care, empowering employees to treat patients as they  would want their own family members treated.

While emphasizing transparency, respect and compassion, CTCA has simplified and streamlined treatment, resulting in a thriving business whose staff  has tripled in four years. The Goodyear facility has grown to 235,000 square feet and will add even more room for patients this year.

CTCA has an ambitious goal - to eradicate cancer - and is taking an innovative approach to achieving it. Inspired by his mother's own battle with cancer, CTCA founder Richard J. Stephenson pioneered a whole-person, nurturing environment now known as the CTCA Mother Standard® that is a model for the future of health care.
