Things Are Looking Up: Chamber Members Expect Improvement in 2012
The business community's confidence may be showing signs of strengthening. A recent survey of members of the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce showed more than two-thirds expect their businesses to improve in 2012.
While most respondents characterized the overall business climate as "fair" (71 percent) or "weak" (14 percent), 62 percent said their business was currently "strong" or "very strong." And while most expect the state and national economies to stay the same in 2012, 68 percent said they expected improvement in their business in the year ahead.
